According to Calciomercato, Arsenal have joined the race to sign 19-year-old Barcelona prodigy Mikayil Faye. The young winger has yet to make a senior appearance for the Blaugrana, but his potential has attracted the attention of several top European clubs.

Faye’s reputation has grown despite his lack of first-team experience. Chelsea, Inter Milan, Borussia Dortmund, and Juventus are all also reportedly interested in acquiring the teenager.

Barcelona rejected a €9 million offer for Faye in January.

Calciomercato suggests that Arsenal may be the latest club to enter the fray for Faye’s signature. However, Barcelona’s €30 million asking price could be a significant obstacle. Some reports suggest this valuation is unrealistic given Faye’s lack of experience at the highest level.

Whether Arsenal are willing to meet Barcelona’s demands or attempt to negotiate a lower fee remains to be seen. One thing is certain: the competition for Faye’s services will be fierce, and the coming months could see a bidding war erupt for the promising young talent.
