Jack Wilshere’s u18 youngsters thrashed West Ham 8-1 thanks to five goals from Chido Obi-Martin who has now scored four goals or more three times this season.

Arsenal’s young Guns delivered an unforgettable 8-1 win over West Ham United, with Chido Obi-Martin‘s remarkable five-goal haul propelling them to their fourth win in five games.

The match started with a near-miss from Obi-Martin, but his early chance was quickly followed by redemption. Harrison Dudziak‘s creativity and Obi-Martin’s clinical finishing put Arsenal ahead early.

The goals kept coming for Obi-Martin. A perfectly executed strike from the edge of the box doubled Arsenal’s lead. Then, Obi-Martin capitalised on a West Ham defensive error, chipping the keeper for a stunning hat-trick. Not content to stop there, he added a fourth just before halftime – his third four-goal performance of the season!

Osman Kamara added to Arsenal’s tally with a powerful strike before halftime, capping a breathtaking first-half display.

After the restart, the Gunners maintained their intensity, with Kamara scoring his second of the match and earning a penalty, which he unfortunately missed. Shortly after, Obi-Martin’s tenacious play earned him another penalty, which he converted with ease, securing his 16th goal in his last five games. He scored 2 v Brighton, 1 v West Ham, 4 v Fulham and 4 v Palace. Let’s not forget, the 16-year-old also scored 10 in one game against Liverpool.

Despite Arsenal’s dominance, West Ham snatched a consolation goal off a scramble in the box. However, their brief celebration was swiftly extinguished as substitute Dan Casey wrapped up the scoring with a spectacular curled effort.

Jack Wilshere‘s young Arsenal team delivered a sensational performance, with Obi-Martin’s five-goal haul making this a match young Gunners fans won’t soon forget.

Wilshere’s kids now sit third in the table with 38 points from 20 games.
