Harry Kane’s injury situation remains somewhat unclear as things stand, with Arsenal set to face Bayern Munich in just over two weeks.

England take on Brazil in a friendly on Saturday night, but starting striker Harry Kane won’t be involved in the match.

Kane suffered an ankle injury in his last game for Bayern Munich, and he’s not set to return to action with England just yet.

Speaking to the media, Gareth Southgate ruled Kane out of the Brazil match and suggested the player is also doubtful for England’s next game against Belgium.

“Harry will miss tomorrow’s game and he’s also a major doubt for the next one,” Southgate said.

Despite the current uncertainty, the signs suggest Kane will be fit to face Arsenal with Bayern Munich on April 9th.

Whilst the likes of Bukayo Saka have withdrawn from the international break through injury, Kane is still there, suggesting there’s at least some hope he’ll be able to play against Belgium.

Matt Law reported for The Telegraph earlier this week that Kane was being rested for the Brazil clash in the hope he might be fit on Tuesday night.

The Arsenal match is still two-and-a-half weeks away, so if Kane still has a chance to play on Tuesday, he’ll almost certainly be fit a fortnight after that.

Kane has 37 goals and 10 assists in his 35 appearances for Bayern this season, and he’s likely to be the German club’s primary threat when they face Arsenal in the upcoming Champions League quarter-final.
