Kylian Mbappe’s impending departure from PSG has fuelled endless transfer speculation.

While few Arsenal fans held onto a glimmer of hope, a recent interaction with a young fan seemingly confirms the French superstar’s preference for a warmer climate, strongly suggesting Real Madrid as his likely destination.

Kylian Mbappe has seemingly confirmed his impending Real Madrid transfer by dismissing the idea of joining Arsenal.

In a video shared by young footballer Mikey Poulli, Mbappe laughed off the prospect of an Arsenal move, citing the cold weather as his reason.

Mbappe’s exit from PSG on a free transfer this summer is confirmed, and Real Madrid has long been considered the frontrunner for his signature. Though speculation about a potential Premier League move existed, it appears Mbappe has ruled out this possibility.

Arsenal have been interested in signing in the French superstar for some time but it has never seemed likely. Manager Mikel Arteta even confirmed the Gunners’ genuine pursuit, stating: “When there is a player of that calibre we always have to be in the conversation…Why not? If we want to be the best team, we are going to need the best talent and the best players.”

This isn’t the first time Arsenal has been linked to Mbappe, either. Legendary manager Arsene Wenger famously tried to sign a young Mbappe for around £100 million before the player’s move to PSG.
