Manchester City have a few more injury doubts following the final internationals of the March break, as they prepare to face Arsenal on Sunday.

Manchester City went into the international break believing that they might have a fully-fit squad by the time Arsenal visited the Etihad Stadium on March 31st, but they’ve suffered a few knocks over the last week.

Kyle Walker came off early in England’s first international of the break, before John Stones did the same in the second.

Manuel Akanji returned early from international duty with Switzerland, whilst Matheus Nunes picked up an issue with Portugal.

Sky Sports News report that Walker is currently ’50/50′ to be fit for the game against Arsenal this weekend, as he deals with hamstring tightness. Previous reports had suggested City were hopeful he’ll be involved.

City still need to assess Stones, but his substitution appeared to be largely precautionary and he was back out sitting on the bench for the second half of the England-Belgium friendly.

Akanji and Nunes are described as having ‘knocks’, so it’s unclear whether or not that will be enough to keep them out of the game on Sunday.

City’s only genuine existing injury concern was for Ederson Moraes, but Pep Guardiola said on March 15th: “Hopefully, he’ll be ready after the international break.”

Kevin De Bruyne’s absence from international duty appeared to be precautionary, so there’s little chance he’ll miss the Arsenal match.
