Arsenal’s Brazilians haven’t joined up with their national team for the March break, but the Brazil squad have linked up with Arsenal instead.

With Brazil set to face England on Saturday, March 23rd, the national team needed somewhere to train this week, and Arsenal have opened London Colney to Dorival Junior’s side.

That turned out to be very convenient for Gabriel Magalhaes, who was initially called up to the squad.

The centre-back was reportedly able to take part in Brazil’s first session at London Colney, but when he withdrew as an injury precaution, he was already there with Arsenal for further assessments and fitness sessions.

Gabriel Martinelli has also withdrawn from the Brazil squad due to injury, with Gabriel Jesus simply not called up on this occasion.

With the striker playing such limited minutes for Arsenal due to a recent injury of his own, it’s hardly surprising if he’s failed to convince Dorival Junior to call him up.

Instead, the Brazil squad at London Colney is full of players from Europe’s top clubs, including Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo (who has been linked with Arsenal) of Real Madrid, and Raphinha of Barcelona.

Arsenal have also been training at London Colney this week, so the two sides will be sharing the facilities for a little while.

Brazil head off to Spain for their second international fixture next week.
