In the early 2000s, Arsenal Football Club enjoyed a golden era under the management of Arsène Wenger. 1. Arsenal 4-4 Tottenham (29 October 2008)

On October 29, 2008, Arsenal and Tottenham played one of the most famous games in English Premier League history, the North London derby. This exciting game showed us why the North London derby is often referred to as the most intense rivalry in Europe. Arsenal were on their way to win after taking a commanding 4-2 lead at home in the Emirates Stadium. Tottenham, on the other hand, staged a spectacular comeback, scoring two goals in the dying minutes to draw the game.

2. Arsenal’s Invincible EPL Season (2003-2004)

The league title Arsenal won in 2003–04 is still regarded as one of the most significant accomplishments in English football history. Under the management of the renowned Arsène Wenger, the team went undefeated during the league season and triumphantly won the Premier League title. Throughout the campaign that season, the so-called Invincibles showed incredible quality, consistency, and endurance. 4. Arsenal 2-1 Leicester City (14 February 2016)

Danny Welbeck’s exciting late victory over Leicester City on February 14, 2016, delighted Arsenal fans and kept the club’s title hopes alive during the 2015–2016 season. In the 95th minute, Welbeck scored a powerful header from Mesut Özil’s cross to tie the contest at 1-1. The score caused loud celebrations from both Arsenal players and football fans. 5. Arsenal 5-2 Tottenham (26 February 2012)

6. Arsenal 7-3 Newcastle United (29 December 2012):

Arsenal defeated Newcastle United 7-3 at the Emirates Stadium during one of the most interesting and goal-filled matches of that season. The game gave fans and supporters a lot of fun and entertainment because both teams demonstrated their attacking skills to show who was better at offensive football. The major highlight came when Arsenal’s Theo Walcott scored a stunning hat-trick. Walcott was known for his impressive finishing and crazy pace, so it wasn’t much of a surprise. Another vital game-changer in that match was the midfielder Santi Cazorla, who controlled Arsenal’s attacking moves with pinpoint accuracy.

7. Dennis Bergkamp’s Goal vs. Newcastle United (2 March 2002):

In Arsène Wenger’s first full season in charge of Arsenal, the Gunners secured a memorable victory over Manchester United to kick off the 1999-2000 campaign. Arsenal defeated Manchester United 2-0 at Highbury in what we remember as a heated match between two legendary European clubs. Coincidentally, the game marked the start of Arsène Wenger’s first full season in command of Arsenal. As many would agree, he laid the groundwork for the club’s future success under his leadership. Arsenal won the game thanks to goals from Nicolas Anelka and Kanu, who were passionate and determined to compete for major honors under Wenger’s leadership. The victory over the then-incumbent champions Manchester United was necessary for the team; it inspired belief and confidence in the Arsenal squad and made everyone believe in Arsenal’s chances of being a title contender.
