Arsenal express interest in signing Willian Pacho [Florian Plettenberg]

Both Arsenal and Liverpool have reportedly expressed interest in signing Eintracht Frankfurt defender Willian Pacho, however Fabrizio Romano has denied there is any truth to that claim. According to Plettenberg, however, the clubs have reportedly added him to their transfer shortlists, and Frankfurt is aware of their interest.

Pacho, signed from Royal Antwerp last summer for €9m, has impressed in the Bundesliga and Frankfurt has set a €60m asking price for the 22-year-old.

With a contract until 2028, Frankfurt holds the advantage in any potential transfer negotiations.

Arsenal and Aston Villa remain interested in signing Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams, even after he recently extended his contract.

Athletic are bringing in a replacement winger this summer, fueling speculation that Williams could depart. Despite his increased buyout clause of €55m, both Premier League clubs are financially capable of making the move.

Athletic Bilbao hope to keep Williams, but the English sides’ interest and the release clause make a transfer possible.

Williams has been in excellent form this season, contributing to 18 goals in 28 games.
