The 22-year-old Ivorian forward is playing her third season with FC Fleury 91. Fleury have just qualified for the French Women’s Cup final by defeating the mighty Olympique Lyonnais on penalties.

They’re also competing for the fourth place in D1 Arkema. That would mean making the newly created play-offs with a chance to qualify for the Champions League.

The play-offs winners, runner-ups and third-placed teams qualify for the Champions League in France. They are playing Lyon away tonight in the League. With six games to go, they are two points behind Montpellier and have a good chance to make those play-offs.

Kouassi is very good technically as well as speedy and powerful, making her a valuable player to have in your front line. It is quite rare to find a player that can combine those three qualities together.

Her statistics are interesting as she certainly does her share of defensive work too. With Jonas Eidevall high press defensive strategy, she would fit very well into our system.

L’Equipe mentions there are a lot of teams scouting her, Lyon and PSG in France, Chelsea and Arsenal in England and un-named NWSL teams.

They reveal that she would like to play in a Champions League team next season. There will be an opening on the left wing this summer at Arsenal, so she is certainly one of the interesting options available in the market.
