Arsenal are reportedly hot on the trail of promising young striker Franculino, according to a recent HITC report.

The 19-year-old forward has been turning heads with his performances for FC Midtjylland in Denmark.

Franculino, who left Benfica to join FC Midtjylland last summer, has quickly established himself as a key player for the Danish club. He’s racked up an impressive 12 goals and five assists in just 22 competitive matches, showcasing his potency in front of goal.

While Arsenal scouts are said to be particularly impressed by Franculino’s skillset, they aren’t the only club vying for his signature. European giants Ajax, PSV Eindhoven, and Borussia Dortmund have also been scouting the young striker recently, creating a potential transfer battle come summer.

Franculino’s contract with FC Midtjylland runs until 2028, giving the Danish club a strong negotiating position. However, with his talent catching the eye of several top clubs, it remains to be seen if they can hold onto their prized asset.

For Arsenal, the hunt for a young, dynamic striker fits with their recent transfer strategy. The addition of Franculino could strengthen their attacking options, especially if Eddie Nketiah decides to leave the club in search of regular playing time, which seems likely.

The Gunners will face stiff competition from established European clubs for Franculino’s signature. With several teams interested, Arsenal will need to make a compelling offer to convince the talented youngster that the Emirates Stadium is the best place for him to continue his development.
