Arsenal’s interest in Gasiorowski

According to Spanish reports, Arsenal are prioritising a move for the young defender Yarek Gasiorowski.

While Gasiorowski is yet to become a regular first-team fixture at Valencia, the 19-year-old’s potential hasn’t escaped notice. Fichajes claims, “…the Spanish U19 international is starting to make waves.”

Player profile: Yarek Gasiorowski

  • Main position: Centre-Back
  • Other position: Left-Back
  • Market value: €10.00m
  • Date of birth/age: Jan 12, 2005 (19)
  • Citizenship: Spain, Poland
  • Height: 1.92m

Why Gasiorowski could be a shrewd signing

At 6’3, Gasiorowski offers a significant physical presence in defence. His versatility in playing both centre-back and left-back would give Arsenal valuable tactical flexibility and depth in their backline.

Despite his age, the Spaniard’s inclusion in Valencia’s senior squad and his international experience suggest a player with a promising future that Mikel Arteta could further develop.

Gasiorowski has made 18 appearances for Valencia this season with nine of those coming in La Liga games after being promoted to the first team permanently in October.
