Newcastle United, alongside Arsenal and Chelsea, have expressed interest in signing 19-year-old Mario Dorgeles, a rising star in the Danish league playing for FC Nordsjaelland.

Originally brought to the attention of Newcastle by their sporting director Dan Ashworth, both Arsenal and Chelsea have acknowledged Dorgeles’ burgeoning talent, hinting at a potential bidding contest this coming summer.

The young midfielder, known for his defensive capabilities and work rate, has had an inconsistent season regarding playtime but remains a sought-after talent.

Despite his limited minutes on the field (911this season), his performances have caught the attention of these Premier League clubs. While his contract runs until the summer of 2026, the exact transfer fee that would be asked remains speculative.

Although the left-footed Dorgeles plays primarily a central midfielder, he’s also comfortable in both defensive and attacking midfield roles.

His market value has steadily increased since moving from Ghana’s Right to Dream in the summer of 2022, although its peak of €750k is basically ‘free’ in terms of Premier League football clubs.

Dorgeles is managed by Premier Sports Talent, ranking as their second most valuable client after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, whose current market value stands at €4m.
