The Premier League transfer window isn’t open yet, but the rumour mill is already in full swing!

Both Arsenal and Liverpool are making moves to strengthen their squads for next season. The Gunners have reignited their interest in young defender Dean Huijsen after his loan spell at Roma. Meanwhile, Liverpool have joined Arsenal in setting their sights on Real Madrid’s talented forward Rodrygo Goes.

However, both deals face significant challenges. Asking prices could prove to be a hurdle, and Rodrygo’s playing time at Real Madrid might also be a factor.

Will Arsenal and Liverpool manage to overcome these obstacles and secure their transfer targets?

Arsenal are back in the hunt for Juventus defender Dean Huijsen (18) after his loan stint at Roma. While Roma are keen to extend the loan, Juventus remain undecided on his future.

The Gunners, along with Newcastle, might be hesitant to meet Juventus‘s asking price for the promising defender.

This isn’t the first time these Premier League sides have shown interest in Huijsen, with talks failing back in December before his loan to Roma.

Now, Arsenal have a renewed chance, but only if they’re willing to match Juve’s valuation.

Arsenal and Liverpool are circling Real Madrid‘s star forward Rodrygo. The 23-year-old Brazilian has impressed with 13 goals and eight assists, but his €100m price tag and Real Madrid‘s stance of considering him “non-transferable” make a deal unlikely.

However, Rodrygo’s potential loss of playing time due to incoming transfers could spark a negotiation battle if he chooses to leave.
