Jack Grealish has fired a warning shot to Arsenal ahead of their crucial Premier League clash at the Etihad Stadium this Sunday, highlighting Manchester City’s formidable home record and hunger for a fourth consecutive title.

The pressure is on for both sides, with Arsenal currently leading the race but City breathing down their necks in third place. A win for City would see them leapfrog the Gunners and potentially claim the top spot, depending on Liverpool’s result against Brighton.

Grealish is confident City’s fortress-like Etihad form will be a significant advantage:

“We have to win. We are behind them at the moment,” he said. “We know it is going to be a tough game, but I just feel that when teams come to the Etihad, I feel like we always make it difficult for them. I don’t think we’ve lost at the Etihad for about 16 months or something. It is a game that we are looking forward to and you want to play in. I am looking forward to it.”

While acknowledging Arsenal‘s squad strengthening with Declan Rice and Kai Havertz, Grealish believes City’s experience and focus will be crucial:

“Obviously, they have added Declan [Rice] and [Kai] Havertz who are both playing really well at the moment,” he said. “They might have a bit more experience than last season.

“But us as a team and as a club, we are just taking it one game at a time at the moment,” he added. “We certainly have the talent, the desire and the team to go and do it. We have the best manager in the world. Fingers crossed we can have a successful last few months of the season.”
