After Arsenal‘s 4-1 win over Newcastle, Odegaard spoke bluntly to TNT Sports about the title race: “Now is the moment to show that we’re not afraid, to show what we learned last season.” He acknowledges the disappointment of losing out to City last year, but emphasises that Arsenal has grown from that experience.

“The year before that, we missed the Champions League and then we came back so strong, of course, we missed out on the title last year but it’s time to prove we learnt something from that experience.,” Odegaard added, highlighting Arsenal‘s ability to bounce back.

Odegaard’s words reveal the positive atmosphere within the Arsenal squad. “We enjoy playing with each other, every day is so exciting… We’re all living the dream… That’s where we all want to be, we all want to fight for trophies,” he explained.

While acknowledging the difficulty of the Premier League, Odegaard remains laser-focused on the task at hand. “We have to take it step by step, work hard, and then we’ll see who wins it in the end,” he said. This measured, pragmatic approach will be essential as the pressure intensifies.
