It’s too early for a concrete indication of Pedro Neto’s asking price, with Wolves yet to make a decision, according to a report.

Last week, The Athletic’s David Ornstein reported that Wolves would want around £80m for Pedro Neto this summer, but Fabrizio Romano isn’t so sure.

Writing in his Daily Briefing on Monday, Romano claims it’s “too early” for him to have any indication on Neto’s asking price, and Wolves will discuss that closer to the summer.

Romano concludes that there will certainly be many clubs interested in Neto in the upcoming window, and he’s being scouted regularly by many clubs.

Ornstein had started his update by pointing out that there are no guarantees that Neto will even leave Wolves this summer, but he added that Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, Newcastle United, and perhaps Manchester United are all admirers of the 23-year-old.

The journalist added that Neto’s suitors might harbour some reservations about his fitness record, with the player’s injury absences totalling 482 days in the last three-and-a-half seasons.

As of now, both sources are in agreement that there hasn’t been any concrete movement on a potential transfer ahead of the summer.

Neto has three goals and 11 assists in 20 appearances for Wolves this season, so he’s undoubtedly been in great form when available.

John Cross wrote for the Mirror that Neto was one of the wingers on Arsenal’s summer shortlist, alongside Athletic Club’s Nico Williams.
