His performance against Crystal Palace was a clear demonstration of his overall impact at Arsenal, where his composure and skill in front of the goal shone through.

Reflecting on his year, Trossard said, “It’s been a great year for me – everything I could wish for! Obviously, at the end of last season, the perfect way to end it would have been to win the league, but in general, it’s been great for me.”

After the match against Palace, he also praised the effectiveness of the team’s set-piece strategies, a focal point of their training.

“We work on them a lot,” Trossard said, “and then it’s really nice when we pull it off on the pitch. It got us going into the game as well, so it’s a really nice win for us.”
