Arsenal have offered a scholarship to Andre Annous for the 2024-2025 season.

Andre Annous, who recently turned 16, has become a key figure in Arsenal‘s youth system.

Recognised for his versatility as a box-to-box midfielder and also capable of playing as a winger and striker, Annous is now reviewing a scholarship offer from the Gunners for the 2024-2025 season, according to AllNigeriaSoccer.

His football journey began at the age of five, playing for Tottenham Hotspur, and Chelsea before committing to Arsenal by signing schoolboy terms.

Arsenal secured Annous at eight years old, winning a battle against those two sides to bring him to their Hale End Academy.

Annous’ rapid progression through Arsenal’s youth ranks is noteworthy; he was a member of the U17 team at the Flamengo Adidas Cup in Brazil and has frequently trained with the U18s in 2023.

As per Premier League rules, all U17 players must start the 2024-2025 season on a scholarship agreement, and only after their 17th birthday can they sign a professional football contract.

Annous’ scholarship offer is in line with these guidelines.
