Arsenal have three loanees still in the FA Cup following the weekend’s Round-of-16 draw for the competition.

Starting with the bad news, Arsenal lost one loanee from the FA Cup last week, with Charlie Patino starting as Swansea City were thrashed 5-0 by Bournemouth on Thursday.

But there was better news on Saturday, as Albert Sambi Lokonga started in a dramatic 2-1 victory for Luton Town against Manchester City.

Nottingham Forest earned a replay against Bristol City with a 0-0 draw, with Nuno Tavares playing 65 minutes, so they also remain in the competition at the time of writing.

Finally, Wrexham and Arthur Okonkwo will travel to Blackburn Rovers on Monday night at 19:30 GMT.

As a result, only Luton and Lokonga are guaranteed to be playing in the FA Cup fifth-round, the last-16 of the competition.

But Lokonga could be joined by Tavares and Okonkwo, depending on their eventual fourth-round results.

The fifth-round draw has already taken place, so we know who the Arsenal loanees will be up against, should they make it.

Lokonga and Luton will host Manchester City, whilst Bristol City or Nottingham Forest have been drawn at home to Manchester United. If Wrexham can defeat Blackburn Rovers, they’ll host Newcastle United.

There’s no denying that those are three huge ties for the Arsenal loanees, if they’re lucky enough to be involved in them.
