Aaron Ramsdale is considering a move away from Arsenal, but the Gunners don’t want to sell in January and a Chelsea move has been denied once again.

The Evening Standard report that Aaron Ramsdale is considering a move away from Arsenal after losing his spot in the team to David Raya.

But the same source suggest Chelsea will resist the urge to turn any potential interest into a bid for the goalkeeper in January, as they plan to put faith in Djordje Petrovic instead.

First-choice Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez recently picked up an injury, putting a spotlight on their goalkeeping options. But for once, it seems the club aren’t going to panic buy.

Fabrizio Romano writes in his Daily Briefing that Chelsea are not negotiating for Ramsdale, and they haven’t made contact with the player, nor with Arsenal.

Romano claims Ramsdale isn’t even on Chelsea’s shortlist for the January window.

On top of that, the same report suggests Arsenal are happy to continue with Ramsdale and Raya until the end of the season. They’re not planning to sell one of their goalkeepers mid-season.

Ramsdale made his Champions League debut for Arsenal last week, playing against PSV Eindhoven for his ninth appearance of the season.

But five of those appearances came before Raya’s breakthrough into the team, so the England international’s minutes have clearly been limited since then.

Even so, Arsenal don’t seem to be keen to let the 25-year-old go just yet, and Chelsea are seemingly not after him anyway.
