Paris Saint-Germain have dominated this award in recent seasons, with Neymar’s goal against Basaksehir winning in 2020/21, Lionel Messi’s goal against Manchester City winning in 2021/22, and Messi winning again in 2022/23 for his goal against Benfica.
But the Ligue 1 side haven’t received any nominations this time, so a different club will see their player win the award in 2023/24.
With the help of the Arsenal fans, perhaps that player could be Gabriel Jesus.
