Arsenal are targeting four key strikers as they aim to maintain their lead in the Premier League under Mikel Arteta’s guidance.
The club’s strategic approach involves a mix of established stars and emerging talents to fortify their squad.
Arsenal are reportedly refining their strategy for a robust title charge by shortlisting four strikers.
The club, having led the league for a significant part of last season before a decline in form, is keen to strengthen their squad depth and avoid repeating past mistakes.
The Athletic has reported that Brentford‘s Ivan Toney, despite not playing this season due to a ban for breaking betting rules, is among the top targets for Arsenal.
Toney, who scored 20 goals in the Premier League last season, is seen as a potential game-changer for the Gunners. His possible transfer to Arsenal, however, is speculated to cost around £80 million.
Another prominent name on Arsenal‘s list is Napoli‘s Victor Osimhen.
The £120m-rated striker, known for his pivotal role in Napoli‘s league triumph last season, is regarded as one of Europe’s most formidable forwards. Osimhen’s addition to the Arsenal squad would bring immediate impact and attacking prowess.
The shortlist also includes two younger talents, Brighton‘s Evan Ferguson and RB Leipzig‘s Benjamin Sesko, both of whom represent long-term prospects.
Ferguson, 19, who recently signed a new long-term contract with Brighton, could command a transfer fee upwards of £100 million.
Meanwhile, 20-year-old Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig has also caught Arsenal‘s attention.
As the January transfer window approaches, Arsenal‘s moves in the market will be closely watched, with these potential signings poised to shape the club’s title aspirations.
