Arsenal have two players in the BBC, WhoScored, and Premier League Teams of the Week after the weekend win against Wolves.

After another win to keep Arsenal at the top of the Premier League table at the weekend, a couple of Arsenal players have been recognised in the various Teams of the Week for the latest round of fixtures.

The Premier League’s official Team of the Week included Bukayo Saka, with Alan Shearer writing that the winger was “imperious once again”.

Shearer went on to praise Saka’s “brilliant skill to create the opening for his goal, and wonderful composure to finish it”.

In the BBC’s Team of the Week, Garth Crooks included Martin Odegaard.

Crooks wrote: “This was the first time I’ve seen Odegaard look something like the player he was for Arsenal last season.

“His goal was struck beautifully, but he was also back controlling the game from the centre of midfield and setting up chances for his team-mates to score out of nothing.”

Finally, Saka was also recognised in the WhoScored Team of the Week.

Saka received an 8.73 rating for his performance against Wolves, with Ben McAleer highlighting that the winger had bagged his fifth league goal of the campaign, before adding: “Saka was unfortunate not to add an assist having made four key passes at the Emirates.”
