Arsenal‘s FA Cup third-round fixture against Liverpool has been set for Sunday, January 7, at the Emirates Stadium.

The match against Jurgen Klopp‘s team is scheduled for a 4.30 pm kickoff and will be broadcast live on the BBC in the UK.

This match adds to the long-standing rivalry between Arsenal and Liverpool, particularly in the FA Cup. The last time these two teams met in the competition was in February 2014, where Arsenal secured a 2-1 victory.

Historically, the Gunners have won eight out of their 17 FA Cup clashes against Liverpool.

This FA Cup match is part of a trio of fixtures between the two clubs over three consecutive months.

Before the January game, the teams will face off on Saturday, December 23, at Anfield in the Premier League, followed by another league match at the Emirates in early February.

For Arsenal, these matches present significant opportunities, not just for advancing in the FA Cup but also for strengthening their position in the Premier League.

The clash in the FA Cup, especially, offers the Gunners a chance to continue their impressive history in the tournament and to claim another notable victory against one of their major rivals.
