Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey is grappling with a persistent thigh injury, casting a shadow over the Gunners’ midfield.

The Ghanaian international underwent a minor treatment procedure for his thigh injury and is now in a leg brace, with the player expected to be out of action until the New Year, at least.

This season, Partey has managed to play only 341 minutes across all competitions, with his involvement being severely limited due to recurring injury problems.

Partey’s injury history has been a concern for Arsenal, with the player suffering from various issues since his arrival at the club.

This season alone, he has missed a number of key matches, including Premier League clashes against Manchester United, Everton, Tottenham, Bournemouth, and recent games against Chelsea and Newcastle United.

Partey’s latest injury has already sidelined him for 30 days bring his total of days missed through injury since arriving in London in 2020 to 284 (51 matches for club and country).

The midfielder’s frequent injury setbacks have led Arsenal to consider adjusting their transfer strategy.

While initially focusing on enhancing their forward line, the club is now contemplating bolstering their midfield options in the upcoming January transfer window.

This shift is a direct consequence of Partey’s injury woes, highlighting the need for additional midfield cover to maintain the team’s competitive edge in the Premier League.
