Sylvinho, the former defender for Arsenal amongst others, has transformed Albanian football as their national coach, leading them to the European Championship.

Sylvinho’s coaching philosophy is a blend of experiences under renowned managers like Víctor Fernández, Rijkaard, Guardiola, Mancini, Parreira, Zagallo, and Wenger.

His career achievements include league titles, Champions League victories, and a World Cup win. Now, he imparts this knowledge to the Albanian team, which consists of players playing across Europe in leagues like the Premier League, Serie A, and La Liga.

Under Sylvinho’s guidance, the Albanian team has shown remarkable flexibility in their matches, seamlessly shifting between formations like 5-4-1, 5-3-2, and 4-3-3 within a single game. This tactical adaptability reflects Sylvinho’s emphasis on a proactive and intelligent style of play.

Despite being considered minnows in terms of international football presence, Albania, under Sylvinho’s leadership, finished as the leader of Group E in the qualifying phase, ahead of teams like the Czech Republic and Poland.

This achievement is particularly significant considering Albania’s limited history on the international stage and highlights the impact of Sylvinho’s coaching.
