Arsenal’s Under-18 team encountered an unexpected detour en route to their match against Brighton, leading to a postponement of the fixture.

The team set off this morning for the game scheduled for a 12 pm start, but confusion ensued when they did not arrive at the expected time.

The issue arose when the coach deviated from the intended route off the M25, taking a wrong turn according to SunSport, which then led to the decision to return to their training base at London Colney, with the team approximately 90 minutes from their destination on the south coast.

Contrary to rumours, it has been clarified that Arsenal did not mistakenly arrive at the wrong club.

The postponed match will be rearranged for a later date.

Despite the travel mishap, Arsenal‘s young squad, managed by Jack Wilshere, has shown promising form on the pitch after a challenging start to the season. The team is unbeaten in their last three matches, with two wins and a draw.
