Arsenal are one of the clubs pursuing Shamrock Rovers teenager Naj Razi, according to a report.

The Irish Sun report that 17-year-old Naj Razi is wanted by a number of top clubs, including Real Madrid, Chelsea, and Arsenal.

The same report claims Arsenal and Chelsea are at a disadvantage compared to Real Madrid, due to post-Brexit rules that would prevent the player from joining until 2025 (the first transfer window after he turns 18 next October).

La Liga doesn’t have the same restrictions, and Razi would be able to make a move within the European Union.

But if the teenager is willing to wait, it seems Arsenal are interested.

Razi recently broke into Shamrock Rovers’ senior side, as they looked to secure the League of Ireland Premier Division title.

The 17-year-old made his debut in the FAI Cup in July, followed by making appearances as a substitute in the Europa Conference League qualifiers later that month and in early August.

Those substitute minutes eventually earned Razi his league debut, again coming off the bench against UCD and Drogheda United in September and October.

Shamrock Rovers have secured the league title, officially confirming the trophy win with a victory over St. Pat’s last Friday.

With the League of Ireland operating on a calendar-year basis, Rovers will wrap up their season this weekend.
