Juventus have been urged to sign Charlie Patino, such is the youngster’s form on loan while Arsenal make an approach for Gabriel Moscardo and Barcelona hope to get the Gunners involved in a bidding war.
Charlie Patino, the talented Arsenal youngster currently on loan at Swansea, is gaining significant interest from top clubs, including Juventus.
Michele Fratini, an intermediary speaking to Rai Sport via Tutto Juve, suggested Juventus should consider signing Patino.
Fratini highlighted Patino’s quality, saying, “A regista is needed because Juventus do not have the quality and someone who builds the game. It could be Charlie Patino of Arsenal, because he has great quality. There are many great teams on him.”
This attention underscores the calibre of Arsenal’s young talent, with Patino making an impression in the Championship with four assists and a goal in 12 league games.
At the same time, Arsenal are linked to Corinthians 18-year-old midfielder Gabriel Moscardo.
Reports from ESPN Brasil mention Arsenal as having made approaches for Moscardo, although Chelsea and Barcelona are currently seen as stronger contenders.
Arsenal’s interest is partly attributed to the connections of Edu Gaspar, former football director at Corinthians, who is close with intermediaries Kia Joorabchian and Giuliano Bertolucci, involved in Moscardo’s potential move.
Barcelona are also reportedly keen on Arsenal and Manchester United firming up their interest in 23-year-old Nice defender Jean-Clair Todibo.
According to Sport, both clubs have inquired about Todibo, a player who has evolved into one of Ligue 1’s most outstanding centre-backs.
Barcelona, holding a 20% sale clause on Todibo, are hopeful of a future transfer, in need of cash, as always.
