Italy managed to secure the draw they needed to qualify for Euro 2024 on Monday night, despite a late Ukraine penalty claim that was controversially turned down.

As a result, Arsenal’s Jorginho will take part in next summer’s tournament, but Oleksandr Zinchenko will have to hope his country make it in through the play-offs.

Jakub Kiwior and Poland had already confirmed their own spot in the play-offs after missing out on direct qualification last week, and they’ve now been joined by two more Arsenal players.

Karl Hein and Estonia made the play-offs as the only nation to do so from League D (the lowest tier) of the Nations League, after their impressive performance in the competition.

Runar Alex Runarsson is the last of the four Arsenal players to make it in, with Iceland also progressing to the play-offs.

Euro 2024 Play-Off Paths

There will be three sets of play-offs (Path A, B, and C), each involving four teams playing a semi-final and final, resulting in one team from each path qualifying for the final tournament.

Teams are listed below in order by seed, with the top seed facing the bottom seed in the semi-finals, and the second and third seeds facing each other.

Poland will be the first seed if Wales join the play-offs, or second seed if they’re joined by Croatia.

The draw to determine the placement of Finland, Ukraine, and Iceland will take place on Thursday, with one of them drawn into Path A and the other two in Path B.

If Finland are in Path B, they’ll be the third seed, and either Ukraine or Iceland will be fourth. If Finland are in Path A, Ukraine will be the third seed ahead of Iceland.
