Arsenal are reportedly looking into a trip to Dubai for a warm-weather training camp during the winter break, according to a report.
The Evening Standard report that Arsenal are looking at the possibility of heading to Dubai for warm-weather training in January, having previously visited the city multiple times in recent years.
Mikel Arteta has taken the squad to Dubai a couple of times, first in 2020 and then during the World Cup break last winter.
But the Gunners also visited Dubai when Unai Emery was in charge, as you can see in the picture above.
With the winter break returning to the Premier League calendar, Arsenal have another opportunity to make the trip in January.
Arsenal will play in the FA Cup on the weekend of January 6th-7th, before having a couple of weeks off.
The Gunners return to action against Crystal Palace on January 20th, although that’s on the condition they don’t have to play a cup replay.
The winter break being used as a training camp is perhaps not quite what the footballing authorities intended, but it’s become the norm for most top teams.
The lack of any competitive football and the break from the cold weather in England should still allow the squad to relax a little before their return to action later in the month.
