Arsenal announced the results of their September Player of the Month vote this week, with Bukayo Saka taking home the award.

Saka received 36% of the votes, edging out Martin Odegaard, Leandro Trossard, and William Saliba.

It was a big month for the winger, who kicked things off with an assist for Declan Rice’s goal against Manchester United.

Saka went away with England over the international break, before returning with another assist for Leandro Trossard’s winner against Everton.

The 22-year-old marked his Champions League debut with a goal and an assist against PSV Eindhoven, before netting from the spot in the north London derby.

Finally, Saka scored again in Arsenal’s win over Bournemouth with a close-range header.

With three goals and three assists in just five games, it was no real surprise to see Saka receiving the biggest share of the fan votes in September.

Saka has made a strong start to Arsenal’s season overall, managing 10 goal contributions in his first 10 games.

The only negative has been his recent injury struggles, as he missed the win over Manchester City. The hope is that he’ll be fit to return to action after the international break.
