Amid a challenging start following his £65m transfer from Chelsea to Arsenal, Kai Havertz has managed to boost his commercial portfolio.

The 24-year-old Germany international recently inked a significant deal with sportswear giant PUMA, becoming the face of their FUTURE boot range for the foreseeable, well, future.

Arsenal’s Kai Havertz has signed a significant new contract with sportswear company PUMA, despite experiencing a challenging start to the season following his £65m transfer from Chelsea.

The 24-year-old Germany international will be the face of PUMA’s FUTURE boot range for the coming years.

Havertz’s move to Arsenal in the summer generated much excitement among fans, but the versatile playmaker has thus far struggled to find form.

He has recorded one goal and one assist in 12 appearances across all competitions since joining the Gunners.

Nevertheless, Havertz’s commercial value has not been affected by his on-pitch performance.

“Growing up in Germany PUMA has always been an iconic brand with some of the greatest players ever wearing their products,” Havertz said.

“PUMA has always been an innovative brand when it comes to football boots and the way they work with athletes.

“When I met with the team and discussed plans for the future, I knew this was the right fit for me.

“They understand athletes and really want to be collaborate with their players; it really is a family atmosphere.

“Wearing the FUTURE boot is the perfect fit for my game and is a boot I was eager to move into, there is no other boot like it.

“PUMA are not only excelling as a brand on the pitch but are making huge waves in other areas of sport and fashion.

“We are working on some exciting projects, and I am looking forward to what the future holds.”

Havertz had a successful three-year stint at Chelsea before transferring to Arsenal. During his time at Chelsea, he played a crucial role in the club winning the Champions League in 2021, scoring the winning goal in the final against Manchester City.

PUMA confirmed a long-term partnership with Havertz, indicating his importance to the brand’s football strategy. He will don the brand’s FUTURE boots whenever he plays for both Arsenal and the German national team.
