Italian international Jorginho has stressed the importance of teamwork and unity for Arsenal’s success in upcoming seasons.

In a candid interview with Arsenal’s official website, Jorginho, who transferred from Chelsea to Arsenal almost a year ago, conveyed his observations about the special group of players he’s joined.

Jorginho’s remarks come as a confirmation of the camaraderie within the Arsenal squad. “I think we are very, very close as a team,” said Jorginho.

“I can feel it is a special group because it’s a humble group of boys that all have their minds open to learn, to listen, to improve and to give opinions, too.”

The focus, according to him, should not just be on individual milestones but on collective goals. “So as long as we don’t put our individual ego in front of the team, this group can be special. I see it can be that way, and I hope the egos never take over.

“I hope the team always comes first, because then the enjoyment is way bigger than just being an individual.”

The ethos of unity and a shared sense of purpose seem to be influenced by the leadership within the club.

Both manager Mikel Arteta and Technical Director Edu have been instrumental in cultivating this culture. “It’s a big, big family where everyone feels involved, and that’s credit to the club, to Mikel, to Edu, for what they want to create,” noted Jorginho.

“You can feel it’s just special because when you have everyone together, it’s a really, really nice feeling.”

Jorginho himself has been the beneficiary of the welcoming atmosphere at Arsenal. He praised the Arsenal community for embracing him so warmly, suggesting that the current environment at the club is ideal for incoming players. “The way the club is now, it’s amazing for the new players,” he said. “Once I arrived here, the whole staff, the whole Arsenal family welcomed me so well.”

As the interview wraps up, the feeling one is left with is a sense of anticipation and excitement. Not just for the immediate fixtures, but for the future of Arsenal as a cohesive unit, dedicated to achieving shared success.

As fans and players alike continue to build on this collective spirit, it’s clear that Arsenal are laying down solid foundations for the years to come.
