It was the team’s first win of the season, having lost their previous four games, so they now finally have some points on the board.
Cech was inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame earlier this year, joining a number of other former Arsenal players.
Dennis Bergkamp, Thierry Henry, Patrick Vieira, Ian Wright, and Tony Adams are the other players to have received the accolade, with Arsene Wenger making it in as a manager.
The goalkeeper obviously spent the majority of his Premier League playing career with Chelsea, though he did win one of his four Golden Gloves with Arsenal in 2015/16.
Following his footballing career, Cech has gone on to play ice hockey, albeit not at a professional level.
The ex-Arsenal man also returned to Chelsea in a backroom role for a few years, but he left the club after Todd Boehly arrived in 2022.
