Arsenal are actively scouting several European players as part of a plan to bolster its squad in the upcoming window.
According to reports in the last few days, the club is focusing on Sacha Boey from Galatasaray, Dušan Vlahović of Juventus, and Ousmane Diomande at Sporting, among others.
Arsenal are setting their sights on emerging and established talents from Europe to further strengthen its line-up. Among the prospects drawing attention are Sacha Boey from Galatasaray, Dušan Vlahović of Juventus, and Ousmane Diomande, currently at Sporting.
In the Turkish Super Lig, Arsenal have been notably persistent in monitoring Sacha Boey.
Scouts from the club will reportedly be present at Galatasaray’s upcoming fixtures, reflecting a sustained interest in the 23-year-old right-back.
Boey himself has previously expressed a desire to play in the Premier League, potentially giving Arsenal an edge over other interested clubs.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are also not letting go of thei interest in Juventus’ Dušan Vlahović.
While no official moves were made during the summer transfer window, reports suggest that Arsenal are planning to re-engage in talks with Juventus in January.
Despite the Italian club’s reluctance to part ways with the 23-year-old Serbian striker, the Gunners apparently appear undeterred.
Also on Arsenal’s radar is Ousmane Diomande, a young defender at Sporting.
According to Ove Pedersen, the sporting vice-director at Diomande’s former club Midtjylland, Arsenal had shown serious interest in the player before his move to Sporting.
He cited Brexit as a complicating factor that prevented a potential move to the North London club.
Now valued significantly higher and with a substantial release clause, Diomande has gained broader European interest, suggesting that Arsenal may face competition and a higher price tag if they decide to pursue him again.
