Jurrien Timber’s twin brother Quinten has impressed Arsenal scouts during recent trips to watch the midfielder, according to a report.
90min report that Feyenoord’s Quinten Timber has left a positive impression on scouts from a number of Premier League clubs, including Arsenal.
The twin brother of Arsenal’s Jurrien Timber has impressed the Gunners’ scouts in matches this season, with the likes of Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, and Spurs also reporting back favourable things on the player.
There’s also interest in mainland Europe, with Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, AS Monaco, and Napoli reportedly following Quinten’s recent performances.
Playing in the centre of the park, Quinten Timber has made 10 appearances this season, scoring once and assisting three goals.
The 22-year-old has helped to push Feyenoord up into the Eredivisie top four, and they’re unbeaten in the competition so far this campaign.
In the Champions League, Feyenoord have made a similar start to Arsenal, winning their opening game before losing their follow-up fixture.
For those wondering, Quinten Timber wouldn’t necessarily be able to replace Jurrien in his brother’s injury absence, as the two players play different positions.
Despite often moving up into midfield, Jurrien is primarily a defender, whilst Quinten has only very rarely played in the backline.
But maybe we could see the two brothers in the same team at some point in the future.
