Arsenal had five players called up for England’s youth internationals in October, but only two of them ended up featuring on the pitch.
England u21s
Arsenal loanees Charlie Patino (Swansea City) and Brooke Norton-Cuffy (Millwall) were both called up for the England u21s over the October break, but neither featured in the opening game against Serbia.
The pair are new to the u21s, only receiving their first call-ups in September, so they’re easing their way in right now.
Norton-Cuffy then came on as a substitute against Ukraine, but Patino didn’t feature in either game.
- Thursday, October 12th – England u21s 9-1 Serbia – UEFA U21 Euro Qualifier
- Monday, October 16th – Ukraine 3-2 England u21s – UEFA U21 Euro Qualifier – Norton-Cuffy played 17 minutes.

England u20s
Reuell Walters was set to return to the England u20s this month, now referred to as the “England Euro Elite League Squad”, but he had to withdraw through injury.
England u19s
Arsenal were meant to have two players in the England u19s, Lino Sousa and Amario Cozier-Duberry, but Cozier-Duberry had to withdraw with an injury.
Sousa played 90 minutes against Montenegro and Wales, but it was ultimately a disappointing break for the team. Three draws condemned them to a third-place finish and missing out on the u19 Euro 2024.
- Wednesday, October 11th – England u19s 0-0 Montenegro – UEFA U19 Euro Qualifier – Sousa played 90 minutes for England and helped them to keep a clean sheet.
- Saturday, October 14th – England u19s 1-1 Wales – UEFA U19 Euro Qualifier – Sousa played 90 minutes for England.
- Tuesday, October 17th – Austria 0-0 England u19s – UEFA U19 Euro Qualifier – Sousa was on the bench for England.

England u18s and u17s
Arsenal didn’t receive any call-ups for the England u18s or u17s.
Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly would surely have been involved in one of the two sides (probably the u18s) if fit, but both have been absent from Arsenal’s recent youth squads through injury.
