In a bid to improve their forward options, Arsenal are reportedly eyeing Feyenoord striker Santiago Gimenez.

While Arsenal are keen to add firepower to their line-up, they face competition from rivals Tottenham and Chelsea. The young striker has been turning heads in the Eredivisie, and his current form might make him a worthy addition to the Gunners’ squad.

Arsenal have reportedly set their sights on Feyenoord‘s Santiago Gimenez. The 22-year-old has had an electrifying start to the Eredivisie season, netting 10 goals in just seven games.

To add Gimenez to their ranks, Arsenal will have to navigate interest from other London clubs. Specifically, Tottenham and Chelsea have also been eyeing the striker.

For Arsenal, who are seeking to reinforce their forward line of Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus, Gimenez presents an appealing option.

On the other side of London, Tottenham might consider Gimenez as a prospective replacement for Harry Kane, notwithstanding Son Heung-min‘s strong season start.

Meanwhile, Chelsea, under Mauricio Pochettino, are also interested as they aim to offer more support to Nicolas Jackson and Armando Broja.

Feyenoord are expected to demand around £43 million for their sought-after player.

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Gimenez chose to represent Mexico internationally, a decision influenced by spending much of his youth in the country.

He said, “I feel more Mexican than Argentine,” and has since earned 20 caps for Mexico, although he was cut from the final squad for last year’s World Cup.

Recently, Gimenez has demonstrated why he’s in demand, scoring a hat-trick against Ajax and netting another goal against Go Ahead Eagles.
