In-form PSV Eindhoven winger Noa Lang may be available to face Arsenal despite a hamstring scare at the weekend, according to reports.
PSV Eindhoven signed 24-year-old Noa Lang over the summer, after transfer links between the winger and Arsenal in the past.
Lang has scored four goals in his first seven games for his new club, making a fast start, but he’s also had some hamstring trouble.
The winger missed a game last month with a hamstring issue, and he came off early against NEC Nijmegen at the weekend with a similar problem.
Yet it seems he’s avoided serious injury this time around.
Dutch outlet De Telegraaf report that PSV coach Peter Bosz believed the attacker had left the pitch in time to avoid injury, and he might still be available to face Arsenal.
Lang then completed an individual programme on Monday, before travelling with the PSV squad to London.
Despite joining the trip, there had been no final decision on Lang before Tuesday night. De Telegraaf claim the plan was to make the call after PSV’s training session at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday.
We don’t yet know the outcome of that final assessment, with PSV likely keen to keep the update under wraps ahead of the game.
But it’s certainly not impossible the away side will have their second-top scorer available on Wednesday night.
