After a frustrating game against Manchester United involving a number of contentious decisions, there was significant relief in the Arsenal fan celebrations when Gabriel Jesus put the ball in the net in the 101st minute on Sunday.

The supporters in the stands went wild, and fans around the globe celebrated the goal in their living rooms, local pubs, and beyond.

That included one Channel 4 News reporter, who could be spotted celebrating the goal in the background of a live news broadcast on Sunday evening.

TV news producer and reporter Jorge Engels tweeted out the video to insist that the person celebrating was most definitely not him, before admitting the truth with an apology to news presenter Ciaran Jenkins.

Jenkins didn’t seem to mind though, sharing the clip on his own page later that day.

As someone who has watched their fair share of Arsenal games at work over the years, I can certainly empathise with Engels’ excitement.

His colleagues may have been surprised by the outburst, but it’s always better to have your co-workers in a good mood after a late win!
