Folarin Balogun became a name of interest after a stunning season on loan at Reims in Ligue 1. His 21 goals, surpassed by only three players, brought attention from European giants, particularly Inter Milan and Monaco.

With Balogun’s future at the Emirates Stadium hanging in the balance, Arsenal have held firm on a £45 million valuation for their young striker.

The price reflects not only his club success but also his international debut for the USA, where he scored in the CONCACAF Nations League.

Monaco’s need to replace Breel Embolo, sidelined with an anterior cruciate ligament injury, has driven them to Balogun. Despite having two bids rejected already, they are expected to return with another offer.

Inter Milan has shown unwavering interest in Balogun throughout the transfer window. The Italian giants see in him a rising star with the potential to bolster their attacking options.

The report indicates that both Inter Milan and Monaco expect the situation to be clear this week. Arsenal’s decision will be a significant one, potentially altering the forward line-up of the club.

While not currently in the running, it’s worth noting that West Ham had also eyed Balogun earlier this summer. Their interest, however, has since cooled.
