The summer transfer season heats up with Moussa Diaby, Bayer Leverkusen’s talented winger, reportedly setting his sights on a move to the Premier League.

Arsenal, along with Manchester United and Newcastle, are believed to be in the running for Diaby’s signature.

The Frenchman’s stellar performances for Bayer Leverkusen have garnered attention from clubs across Europe.

With an impressive tally of 49 goals and 48 assists from 172 appearances, Diaby’s potential arrival could bolster Arsenal’s attacking prowess.

Bayer Leverkusen’s recent signing of winger Jonas Hoffman may suggest the club is preparing for life without Diaby.

French sports newspaper L’Equipe previously reported that Arsenal were in the lead for Diaby’s signature as the Gunners look to secure more attacking options.

Despite interest from other clubs, Diaby’s preference appears to lie with a Premier League transfer or a return to Paris Saint-Germain, his former club.

Bayer Leverkusen reportedly want a transfer fee around £51m for the 23-year-old winger.

Although Diaby’s current contract with the German club runs until the summer of 2025, Leverkusen have a history of selling players before they enter the final year of their contracts.
