In Arsenal’s last match on US soil, Trossard’s footwork and control were exceptional, which he capped off with two second-half goals.

The first goal was a well-driven left-footed shot that nestled in the bottom right corner of the goal.

Not long after, he doubled his tally with a first-time finish following an excellent delivery from Kieran Tierney.

In the post-match interview, Trossard shared his positive experiences from the tour and highlighted the team’s preparations.

“We wanted to end on a positive note, and I think we’ve done that against one of the biggest clubs in the world. We’re really happy with the win,” Trossard said.

The Belgian international also recognised the value of a full pre-season with the team, reflecting on the tour as “an amazing 10 days”.

“That always helps a lot, of course, if you can have a full pre-season with the guys,” Trossard said. “It’s been an amazing 10 days and like I said we wanted to end on a positive note, we’re happy with that and now we can go back to London.”

Regarding the team’s preparations for the upcoming season, he noted, “We want to prepare in the best possible way and I think we were on the right track.”

Following the completion of their US tour, Arsenal are set to return to London.

Trossard expressed his excitement about the prospect of playing in front of Arsenal supporters again at the Emirates Stadium.

Trossard acknowledged the significant role that the fans play, stating, “We know what they can bring for us in the stadium, and we’re looking forward to it.”
