The ‘Momentum’ campaign has announced three main initiatives, aiming to create an inclusive football environment for women and girls.

This includes reserving a set number of TOCA boxes exclusively for women during the upcoming World Cup, where injured captain Williamson is set to cheer on England.

The campaign also plans to allocate specific boxes throughout school holidays, providing young girls with an opportunity to play.

Furthermore, each TOCA Social location will introduce a weekly ‘Women’s Hour’, offering a designated hour each week solely for women of all ages and skill levels.

Impact of the campaign

TOCA Social’s President, Alex Harman, is hopeful about the potential influence of the campaign.

He said: “TOCA Social’s motto is ‘Everybody Plays’ and we’re particularly committed to helping grow women’s football. The Momentum campaign will showcase passion for the women’s game, while helping make participation more accessible and inclusive for women and girls. We’re excited to see the impact the campaign has.”

With the commitment and passion of influential figures like Leah Williamson, and the innovative approach of TOCA Social, the future of women’s football in England is looking more promising and inclusive than ever before.
