After an excellent performance and a vital goal for Arsenal against Newcastle United on Sunday, Martin Odegaard endeared himself further to the Gunners supporters after the game.

A game in Newcastle is about as far as any London-based Arsenal fan will go for a Premier League fixture, so it’s nice to see the committed fans rewarded for making the trip with a chat with the captain.

Obviously, it’s even better to see that captain scoring the goal to secure a tricky away win at St. James’ Park.

Arsenal have one more away trip left this season, travelling to Nottingham to face Nottingham Forest. But there’s a very tricky fixture against Brighton before that, so we can only hope there’s still a chance to win the title by that final week.
