Reflecting on the season past, Arsenal’s manager Jonas Eidevall penned a heartfelt note to the Gooners, illustrating the story of a challenging but rewarding season.

Eidevall kicked off the reflection by underlining the notable successes of the season. Winning the Conti Cup, his first trophy with Arsenal, was a proud moment, one which highlighted the team’s quality and strength. The substantial progress in the Champions League, from defeating the reigning champions away from home to reaching the semi-finals, was another giant leap forward.

In addition to the victories on the pitch, the club witnessed unprecedented success off the pitch as well. Setting a record WSL attendance at the North London Derby and selling out Emirates Stadium for a Champions League semi-final were instances that reinforced the notion of building something potent at the club.

The manager also provided an insight into the transformations at the training ground. A brand new building constructed to cater to the high-performance surroundings required to excel on the pitch and the unity fostered among the men’s, women’s and academy teams were significant accomplishments off the pitch.

Turning the spotlight onto the players, Eidevall applauded their remarkable physical and mental resilience. The club’s world-class medical team was also commended for their relentless efforts in supporting the injured players.

No thank you note would be complete without acknowledging the fantastic Arsenal supporters. The manager extended his deepest gratitude to the fans, recognising the instrumental role they’ve played in creating a spirited atmosphere, lifting the team during challenging times.
