As the transfer window looms, Galatasaray are reportedly keen on securing former Arsenal fan favourite, Hector Bellerin, as a potential replacement for Sacha Boey, who is strongly linked with a move to the Gunners.

Turkish sports daily Millyet.com recently reported that Galatasaray made initial contact with Bellerin’s manager, as the 28-year-old’s contract with Sporting Lisbon expires at the end of the season.

The Turkish club is said to have scheduled a second meeting later this month to discuss the Spaniard’s potential move to Istanbul.

Bellerin, a versatile right-back with an impressive career record of 15 goals and 41 assists in 332 matches, has played for several major clubs, including Arsenal, Real Betis, Watford, and Barcelona.

The former Gunner also made four appearances for the Spanish National Team.

Bellerin’s vast experience and attacking prowess make him an attractive prospect for Galatasaray as they search for a quality right wing player to replace Boey.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have been keeping a close eye on Galatasaray’s Sacha Boey.

The 22-year-old right-back has captured the hearts of fans with his impressive performance on the wing this season. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has reportedly made Boey a priority target, as the club seeks to strengthen its defensive line.

If Galatasaray succeeds in selling Boey for a substantial transfer fee, it could pave the way for Bellerin’s return to the spotlight. The Turkish club is expected to face competition for the former Arsenal player’s signature, as French teams are also rumoured to be interested in the Spaniard.

As the transfer saga unfolds, both Arsenal and Galatasaray fans eagerly await the outcome of these potential moves. With Bellerin’s experience and Boey’s promising talent, either club would greatly benefit from securing the services of these skilled right-backs.

Only time will tell whether Hector Bellerin will return to a familiar stage in European football or if Sacha Boey’s Premier League dream will come to fruition with a move to Arsenal.

One thing is certain, however; the upcoming transfer window promises to be an exciting period for all parties involved.
