As Juventus grapples with a tumultuous 2022-2023 season, Arsenal are reportedly looking to capitalise on the situation by making a move for midfielder Adrien Rabiot. With a strong season under his belt, Rabiot has attracted the attention of the Gunners, who are reportedly eager to bring him to the Premier League.

Juventus has faced a challenging season, contending with on-pitch difficulties and judicial issues that could lead to points penalties. Despite these setbacks, the Italian club still has its sights set on a European semi-final against Sevilla in the Europa League. A victory in the competition would secure them a spot in the Champions League and potentially save their season.

However, the club is already looking ahead to next year, with many players expected to depart at the end of the season. Among those with expiring contracts are Alex Sandro and Juan Cuadrado. Cuadrado, in particular, will not be renewing his contract, becoming a free agent.

Adrien Rabiot, whose contract is also set to expire, has had an impressive season at Juventus, becoming the club’s top scorer with 11 goals. The French midfielder’s performance has prompted the club to consider offering him a contract renewal at a lower rate than his current €7 million salary.

Arsenal, on the other hand, appear to be prepared to swoop in and offer Rabiot a higher figure than his current earnings at Juventus. The Gunners are also reportedly interested in Dusan Vlahovic, which would further bolster their attacking options.

With Arsenal having a substantial transfer budget of approximately €225 million, they could potentially satisfy the demands of Rabiot’s agent, his mother Veronique. This move would significantly strengthen Arsenal’s midfield and showcase their ambition to compete at the highest level.

As the end of the season approaches and the transfer window opens, it remains to be seen whether Arsenal can successfully lure Rabiot away from Turin and secure his services for the upcoming campaign.
