Wilfried Zaha is considering a four-year contract offer from Crystal Palace amid interest from Arsenal and others, according to a report.
Ed Aarons reports for The Guardian that Wilfried Zaha is weighing up a new contract with Crystal Palace, lasting until 2027 and worth more than £10m a season.
Aarons writes that Arsenal, Chelsea, and Paris Saint-Germain are interested in Zaha, and the player wants assurances over Palace’s ambitions to qualify for European competition before signing.
Arsenal have expressed their interest in a free transfer, and Zaha wants Palace to address uncertainty over the managerial situation and a lack of progress in recent seasons before extending.
Palace’s offer is the biggest offer on the table from a financial standpoint, at around £200,000 a week.
Sebastian Denis recently reported for FootMercato that a firm Arsenal offer for the Crystal Palace winger is viewed as an increasingly serious possibility this summer.
The Daily Mail also reported that Arsenal remain in the frame, after strong links to Zaha in previous years.
Arsenal are likely to go big for a midfielder in the summer, and picking up a winger on a free transfer would be an easy way to free up funds.
The Gunners have also been focusing more on Premier-League-proven players in recent windows, adding Aaron Ramsdale, Ben White, Oleksandr Zinchenko, and Gabriel Jesus to the starting lineup, as well as players like Leandro Trossard and Jorginho.
Zaha is 30 years old and has six goals and three assists in his 25 games this season.
